From training and transitioning youth into the digital economy, to large-scale AI data labeling and digital marketing, here is a selection of what we’ve delivered.
Built access to vocational skills in underserved communities. We trained 15 youths in solar installation and wireman skills (Grade 3), who then delivered Tier 2 training to 150 youths in Kakuma refugee camp, creating a pipeline of certified technicians for clean-energy solutions in marginalized regions.
We have trained more than 100 youth, women and refugees on data labeling for AI, positioning them to earn from the growing market for AI training work.
Two cohorts trained in Kakuma and Lokichogio, empowering refugee and host-community business owners to build an online presence and sell online — part of the ProSEET program by GIZ Kenya, funded by Germany (BMZ), supporting MSMEs in Turkana West.
After training, we onboarded and placed more than 200 data-labeling trainees onto DigiTalanta’s AI training projects, carrying out decent, dignified, paid work.
In collaboration with Okapi Green Limited, we are transitioning the 25 candidates who sat NITA Grade III exams into the job market as certified technicians for clean-energy solutions in marginalized regions.
We continue to provide post-training support so trainees transition smoothly from learning to implementation, contributing directly to the goals of the ProSEET project.
A large-scale annotation project to build and evaluate a system that detects whether a video is in slow motion. The work demanded meticulous attention to guidelines — 100 annotators delivered over about three months.
Completed for an Asian client, labeling more than 1,200,000 animation videos to improve the client’s AI model output quality. Fifty annotators delivered within one month.
